1. Overview
At Jansen Calibration, we take pride in the accuracy and quality of our calibration instruments and test equipment. Every product is inspected, tested, and packaged carefully before shipment. However, if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we are here to help under the terms outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
- The item was purchased directly from Jansen Calibration (via our website or sales team).
- A return request is submitted within 30 days.
- The product is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with all manuals, accessories, and calibration certificates (if applicable).
Items returned without prior authorization or outside the allowed timeframe will not be accepted.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Customized or special-order equipment.
- Items that have been used, modified, or installed.
- Software licenses, digital downloads, and calibration service fees.
- Consumables such as sensors, cables, or batteries (if opened).
- Products damaged due to mishandling after delivery.
4. Return Procedure
- Contact our customer support team at support@jansencalibration.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Include the RMA number on the outer package of your return shipment.
- Ship the item back using a reliable and trackable courier service. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).
- Once received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection of the refund.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Depending on your payment provider, the refund may take 7–14 business days to appear in your account.
For wire transfer or manual bank payments, refunds may require additional verification and processing time.
6. Exchange Policy
We only replace items that are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need an exchange for the same item, please contact support@jansencalibration.com within the return eligibility period. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
7. Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged or not functioning properly, notify us immediately within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos or videos showing the damage or fault. Our team will assess and arrange a replacement or refund if eligible.
8. International Returns
For international customers, all return shipments must be sent as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs duties. The buyer is responsible for any customs fees or import taxes applied to returned goods. We recommend using a courier with full tracking and insurance coverage.
9. Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply for non-defective returns or orders cancelled after dispatch. This covers inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.
10. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled free of charge before processing or shipment. Once an order has shipped, standard return procedures will apply. Customized or calibration-specific items cannot be cancelled once in production.
11. Warranty & Support
All products are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise stated. For warranty claims after the return period, please contact us for assistance in coordinating with the manufacturer or authorized service center.
