1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://jansencalibration.com (“Site”) and any purchases of goods or services from PT. Jansen Calibration (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Definitions
“Buyer” means the individual or entity who places an order. “Order” means the request to purchase products or services through the Site. “Products” means calibration instruments, testing equipment, accessories, and related goods sold on the Site.
3. Order Acceptance & Contract Formation
All orders are subject to acceptance by Jansen Calibration. An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance; acceptance occurs when we confirm that the product is available and payment has been received (if payment is required in advance). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or failure to obtain authorizations.
4. Pricing & Payment
Prices shown on the Site are in the currency indicated (IDR for domestic listings, USD for international where specified) and exclude applicable taxes, duties, and shipping unless explicitly stated. We make reasonable efforts to ensure price accuracy; however, in the event of an obvious error (e.g., misplaced decimal), we may cancel the order and notify you.
Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfer (BCA, Mandiri, BNI), PayPal, Wise, QRIS, and other methods listed at checkout. Orders are processed only after payment clears. For international wire transfers, buyers must bear any intermediary bank fees unless agreed otherwise.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping, delivery times, and costs are described in our Shipping Policy published on the Site. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs, import controls, force majeure, or buyer-provided address errors. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.
6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Our Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases and is available on the Site. Buyers must follow the return procedure to obtain authorization (RMA) prior to returning products. Cancellation requests received before shipment will generally be accepted; cancellations after dispatch will be treated as returns and may incur restocking fees.
7. Warranty
Products sold by Jansen Calibration are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated. Warranty terms (duration and scope) are specified per product. Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear. To make a warranty claim, contact support@jansencalibration.com with proof of purchase and product details.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Jansen Calibration or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site content without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jansen Calibration’s total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the sale of any product shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product that gives rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data) even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jansen Calibration and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or violation of applicable law.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, war, terrorism, governmental action, or interruptions in transportation or utilities.
12. Compliance with Export Controls & Import Rules
Buyer is responsible for ensuring that ordered products may be lawfully imported into the destination country. Buyer will comply with all applicable export and import laws and obtain any necessary licenses or approvals. We may refuse to fulfill orders requiring export licenses or where shipping would violate applicable laws.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts located in Jakarta, Indonesia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on the Site with the revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
